What is going to happen after that? - On January 12, 2010, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti and devastated the capital city Port-au-Prince and environments, Jacmel included.  Reportedly more than 250,000 people were killed, although the exact number is unknown and the reported number fluctuates, and a large number are homeless. The Presidential palace, Parliament and many other importation structures were destroyed, along with countless homes and businesses. -  After that, a New HAITI is coming.

I, Bishop Dr Daniel Laurent wholeheartedly, congratulate the USA, the UN, all the Countries, all men and women in Uniforms, all Hospitals and Health care centers,  all Universities, Colleges and Schools, all Organizations

and Corporations of the world, all Stars, all Churches, all Groups,

Clergies or Laics, all Leaders, Business men or Business women, all Families, Couples or singles, all single young adults, Boys and Girls, all of You who join Hands

together to help Haiti in the midst of this nightmare and infernal

situations, I in the name of God the Almighty, call you all Heroes!

This is just the beginning of a new era for Haiti; this is a new battle field toward liberation

and development. But, because of you, your love, your courage and bravery, God is

going to make Haiti a new Haiti. Then, in this transition, you are going to dream a

new dream of compassion and love which will bring Unity in the diversity of the world.

Such, to assure  the completion of the new birth of Haiti. For you who have shed your blood,

spent days and nights doing hard works, Haiti would be a landmark of joy. Undoubtedly, all Haitians from generation to generations will remember what the Lord has done;  and, what

America and the rest of the world  have accomplished in Unity, to say the Haitian way:

Talking Haiti 

DLCMCDC OUTREACH MINISTRIES has been working in Haiti since August 2001 to Present. We built communities, establish Churches, provide Christian Education, foods, clothes, and primary care to the sick through mobile clinic and special visitation at the local Hospitals. We also provide comfortable home to the elders, and blind. Additionally, in 2005 we have provided  good support during the (http://www.dlcm.net/PICT0741.JPG) flooded-Mapou areas  in which more than 50 thousand souls died.

But so far, I never seen anything like that earthquake which shacked to break most of the infrastructure of Haiti. More than 250,000 people died. For this cause, on February 23rd, I will fly to  Haiti with some professional missionaries, not to be where the big Organizations can easily support, we will be instead in the rural Haiti, to reach some senior-citizens, some left-over without a home to sleep, a bottle of water to drink or some pain killer medicines to help with their wounds after getting hit very badly by the devastating earthquake. I receive many phone calls from people who know about my heart desire to support the needy in Haiti for almost a decade, they want to support this noble cause.

My fellow supporters we are not big, but our hearts are big, fill up with compassion and love, willing to support the broken-hearted.       Daniel Laurent Christian Ministries Community Development Corporation Inc. DLCMCDC is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt worldwide corporation.
