God has chosen Dr. Daniel Laurent to do a great work. He has been blessed with the anointing to educate, counsel, heal, and reunite families, along with the passion to do so. Yet, no family ever turned down in his career. Instead we find people with a wow expression!

His vision is to see families and communities live in love and fellowship, and to prosper spiritually, academically, and socially. He continues, each day, to dedicate his time and resources to the work that is given to him by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. in addition, it is for this very purpose that he has founded DLCMCDC, a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization.

As a certified entrepreneur from Temple University, a licensed Bishop from Church of God Cleveland, TN, and a Doctor in Divinity and Counseling combined, Dr. Laurent is well qualified to be the Founder and CEO of DLCMCDC. Indeed, Dr. Daniel founded an unique program that exists for the sole purpose of building up families for a better tomorrow. This unique program is called DLCMCDC Family Ministries. So, DLCMCDC is a new name for Family; consequently, family means everything.

This Ministry is the reality of a dream that was given to Dr. Dan by God for the benefit of His glorious Kingdom. God has used this program to restore many marriages and has brought many couples closer together. God also use DLCMCDC Family Ministries to reach out to Single Parents and to effect the lives of Single Young Adults, all to His glory.

DLCMCDC WANTS HEALTHY MARRIAGE,

HEALTHY FAMILY FOR ALL

In August 2000 my wife and I (Dr. Daniel and Rev. Marie Laurent) after brainstorming over the wonderful gold package contained in true marriage, and true relationship, we finally gave birth to Daniel Laurent Christian Ministries Community Development Corporation Inc. DLCMCDC is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt worldwide corporation. The primary purpose of DLCMCDC is to develop families, help the needy and carry the Gospel in communities throughout the world. We are committed to helping meet the basic necessities of those in need in addition to improving lives with Christian education, training opportunities, counseling and other services.

Every year, DLCMCDC works hard to promote healthy marriages, healthy parents and healthy youths, which consequently, are the ingredients of a healthy society.

God in the Garden of Eden initiated marriage: "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." [ Gen. 2:24]

President George W. Bush initiated healthy marriage: "To encourage marriage and promote the well-being of children, I have proposed a healthy marriage initiative to help couples develop the skills and knowledge to form and sustain healthy marriages. Research has shown that, on average, children raised in households headed by married parents fare better than children who grow up in other family structures".

In 1996, Congress affirmed that "Marriage is the foundation of a successful society". Therefore, DLCMCDC mobilizes churches, communities, and organizations to celebrate healthy, lifelong marriages. Besides all the schedules that we have for retreats, conferences, counseling sessions, sharing and more, today, December 12, 2004 is a date to remember. As we pursue our paths to success, ladies and gentlemen, DLCMCDC crowns enthusiastically, couple of the year 2004, single parent of the year 2004, and single young adult of the year 2004.

Those brave couple, single parent, and single young adult, who are winners of the competitions, meet the criteria by keeping a strong marriage, and a proactive life, which condemn sexual immorality, pornography, drug, tobacco, and alcohol. Their autobiographies will be posted on the website.
